Vector Strike

As part of an indie studio and the sole artist on environment, we had a broad scope to implement arenas, and this went through a few iterations as the styles was tested within the game. We have a very intense and rapid pace game-play that does not allow for too much distractions. This influenced us in a lot of ways and it was very interesting to make sure our environments does not compete too much with visual feedback from the game and confuses players. In the end we had numerous prototypes and styles we tried, managed to find a compromise in the stadium level.

Vector Strike is a physics-based action sports game developed by Chamo Games. Players shoot, double-jump, wall run, slide, dash, and more in a 3D arena to score goals within 4v4 multiplayer matches.
